If not for my wife, Babily™ UV Sterilizer would not exist. Just weeks after her birth, our daughter had several gastrointestinal issues to include upset tummy and diarrhea. Not knowing the real cause, we became obsessed to sterilize her feeding bottles to include steam sterilizers but were confronted with their limitations. Simply put, we were unhappy parents!

When we were pregnant with the second child, she tasked me to find a better solution for our son. As a public health professional, she understood the risks improperly sanitized baby feeding equipment could cause to our little one. Also, as a busy mother, she refused to spend valuable time cleaning the steam sterilizer. She wanted something quick, easy, efficient, and reliable and urged me to find something to solve our problem.

While doing my research, I recalled a study I read during my time in service regarding the use of ultraviolet (UV) light by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to inactivate disease-causing bacteria and viruses.
